We are so sad to learn of Ron’s passing. My dad Paul spotted the obituary. He worked for Ron for 32 years, managing the Medical building Pharmacy. 32 years and he still speaks of him with great respect and fondness. Ron was a a true leader.
I worked there too as a student from age 13-23 every summer and Christmas. And Ron always includes me in the Xmas bonus cheque run. He was that generous. When I was hospitalized at age 8, he paid for a TV to be installed in my room for the week I was there. Such a kind man. We are grateful to have known him. Sending our love and condolences to Joey and Danny and family.
I shopped there for my Aunt, and one day some kids were planning to steal my change. Ron asked what was wrong I told him they were hanging around to take moms change,he cornered them with questions while I got away. My family probably were one of his first customers
