Obituary of Marion Lumbers
A hero now an angel Marion Lumbers (Case) has passed away peacefully with family by her side at Toronto General at the young age of 53. Wife of 30 years to Stephen Lumbers, mother of Justin (Deana) Lumbers and Angela Lumbers (Greg). Nanny to Andrew, Anthony, Abbey and Charlotte. Pre-deceased by parents Garnet and Dawn Case. Marion will be missed by her sisters Rhonda (Greg), Dawn (Rob) and her brother Mike (Norma), as well as the whole Lumbers family, nieces and nephews. Marion will also be missed by all her co-workers and many friends. She will be missed by her laugh, her smile, and her way of helping others as she did right up until the day she passed. Marion was a hero and helped save a life by donating her lungs to someone in need. Marion enjoyed traveling with her husband, as well as playing baseball, and being surrounded by her family. She always loved a good laugh. The family would like to express their thanks to everyone who gave us love and support throughout this difficult journey. The family would also like to thank Guelph and Toronto General Hospital for their wonderful staff members all helping and working together. Family will be holding a celebration of life for her at the Acton Legion (15 Wright Ave, Acton, ON L7J 2T7) on Thursday Febuary 8th from 5-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to send donations to Trillium Gift of Life Network.
